The Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye is a highly recognizable aircraft that has been present on U.S. carriers for 6 decades. Despite the fact that these aircraft have foldable wings to allow for better storage on the crowded decks, no manufacturers offer a kit in 1/144 scale that can be built in this configuration.

Several aftermarket options have existed over the years but they’ve been discontinued and are hard to find. We designed this set to fill that void. Each set contains a replacement wing (split into 3 sections) along with 2 replacement vertical stabilizers and a few other small parts.

Update for 2026: Wolfpack and RetroKit have both restarted production of their kits. Being a smaller operation, we’ve opted to stop producing these for stock. We’re more than happy to produce sets on demand, there just isn’t enough of a market for 3 manufacturers.
